Saw a great jacket which I like at Merger

[Mood] :D (gastos nanaman ito. hehehe)

I went to Megamall today to meet Darl and pay my PLDT bill too. We chanced upon Ja and Joey inside the mall. After eating snack, we went to Tango and Merger (T&M) to see their sale items. I went there yesterday and was able to buy 2 neckties for just 500 pesos for both. Great deal if I may say. I bought a red one and a yellowish-gold one. This time, Ja was planning to buy something for her office wardrobe. While she was looking around, I went around too, to find some more neckties which I could buy. Then I decided to fit some of their coats since I was getting bored and asked for some sport suit jackets (Kunwari bibili). The guy who was their in-house consultant gave me three jackets to choose from. The first was a zipped up suit jacket. It was nice and could be worn from business casual to semi-formal. The next two looked a bit more formal (one had 2 buttons, the other, 3) but could also be worn from business casual to semi-formal. I thought at first glance that the latter two was a bit too formal and wouldn't fit me. Anyway, I tried on the next two. Quite to my surprise, the latter two were very nice and flattering. The jackets had a very nice cut which was really great (as in gusto kong bilhin bigla, hahaha). Then it occured to me that the company will be having our annual development executive cocktail (a free gathering for development executives on May 23 at the sidebar in ortigas, visit http://www.developmentex.com/eventpages/events/manila_2007 to register for the event). Anyway, so I thought of investing on this really nice suit jacket. Although the expense isn't really part of my budget for this month, but I think it will be a valuable addition to my wardrobe (since I don't have any suit jackets). I may go around a bit on Monday and Tuesday at the mall to see more jackets and compare prices (maybe G2000 or Van Heusen, M&S maybe an option also). But I'm quite sold to that jacket. You guys should try dropping by Merger at T&M at the 3/F in Mega B. Haaayyy... gastos nanaman ito. Nagkatotoo yung kunwari. hahaha.

Though Chain: I also passed by the department store after to see what they have. I don't know if i'm just biased, but I think their jackets aren't as nice as the ones I saw at Merger. :D

[Mood] :( (What more can I do?)

Here's a question: How can you save your your team mate from being pulled out of the team? It's been in my head for the last couple of days. I don't want to give up on any of my team mates. I think it's the role of any team leader to do everything one can to uplift, motivate and save his team mates. But what more can I do? I talked to him yesterday and asked him his plans with his career. I hope I made it clear to him the urgency of the situation and the decisions he must make for himself. Things like these are never easy to handle. Not when you're part of the team.

Though Chain: work is just too much these days. yesterday, I went home at 3am again (came to work at 9am, equals 18 hours) just to finish work. I need a break.

Hereos is depriving me of sleep...

[Mood] 8) (Trying to keep my eyes open...)

I started watching heroes last monday after months of hearing from friends that the show is ok. So last monday, I started watching full episodes on dailymotion.com which are split into 3 parts per episode (Tamad kasing magdownload sa torrent). Anyway, to make the story short, the show has caught my attention, and now I'm losing sleep from staying up and watching episodes. so far, I've only watched 8 episodes. maybe complete the season by the end of the week. :D

We went to splash Island yesterday to beat the heat of the sun. Ofcourse, we can expect that the sun beat me. So here I am, battered with sun burn on my shoulders and arms even though I applied sun block several times. Arggghhh... I hate sunburn. So right now, I started applying waterbased moisturizer to moisturize the sun-damaged skin. It alleviates the pain a bit and makes skin a bit more elastic, making it heal faster (i think, did this before, and it did work).

I'm still working on my new website, but it'll probably be ready to deploy by the end of the month. I want it to reflect my design style and have all the functionalities I want. I already bought my domain name last month, and now, I'm deciding where to host it. I'm considering a local hosting provider which charges 1,200 bucks per year for only 2GB of bandwidth per month. There are US-based hosting companies that offer hosting for 60-96 dollars for a year of hosting, but that covers 500-3000GB of bandwidth per month! I'm seriously considering getting hosting plans from the US as they are packed with more features for the cost, and they also host rails apps. I'll just decide what to get when I finish it by the end of the month.
